John and Laurie Bentley
John Bentley arrived at the meeting ducked down in his seat with coat
over his head. The car pulled into the warehouse, and the door
closed behind him. It wasn't a secret FBI or mafia meeting, but a TNI
meeting!
At the time, John was heavily involved in another network marketing
company. "I was so paranoid that someone would see me and call
the other company," he said. "I put the jacket on my head- it was a
cloak and dagger thing."
Take It To the World
What John found in that warehouse back in 1996 was a whole lot of
Tahitian Noni Bioactive. "Do you think you'll sell all this?" he asked
CEO Kerry Asay. "We're going to take it to the world," came the reply.
As the years have passed, that's exactly what's happened.
Still, the beginnings were humble. "I came back with cases of
Bioactive and started getting it out," John said. "There were no tapes
or literature, just some copies of papers that talked about the islands
and how the fruit grew, plus a little bit of information from Dr.
Heinicke."
That didn't stop John! "John has a gift of seeing good in just about
anything," said wife Laurie. "He was excited and wanted to work the
TNI business. I told him to go for it!"
John found himself relying on the results people experienced from the Bioactive. "I had to listen to people who were using the
product," he said, "I started getting phone calls and was just amazed at what the Bioactive was doing for people". He continued, "It
encouraged me to put more and more Bioactive out!"
Selling Points
What John loves best about being an IPC is the presence and availability of the founders. "At a lot of companies you never see the
executives. But at TNI, they're such inspiring people. There's so much rapport and camaraderie."
That's one of the things he tells his prospects about when he's recruiting. "It's one of my best selling points," he said. It also helps
that John loves to tell people about Tahitian Noni Bioactive. "The thing that really drives our business and me is knowing that we'll
meet new people and be able to help them with the product." At John's age many people retire, but John continues to share the
miracles of Tahitian Noni Bioactive. "I'm inspired," he said. One of his recent inspirations came on a cruise he took with Laurie. "I
talked to 25 couple who had never heard of Tahitian Noni Bioactive, and now I have 11 couples, I'm sending product to and another
8 signing up as IPC!"
It's a Family Business
TNI and Tahitian Noni Bioactive have literally changed John and Laurie's lives. "We've found a great wealth of people that have
become friends," he said. "The biggest change has been our income. We've remodel our house with TNI, he said, "Laurie and I
can share with and help others."
John and Laurie have three daughters, who are all in the TNI business. "Julie is a Diamond Pearl," said John. She works with me
every day at the office taking calls and working with her team of fantastic IPC's." Lisa is married to a Marine and stationed in San
Diego, where she manages a restaurant and is a Jade in the TNI business. Kim is married to a policeman and lives in Morgan Hill.
She is also a Jade and works on home loans. All three are proud to be a part of the WCM Team!
Antiques
In his spare time John loves to collect electric trains and antiques. He's also an auctioneer. "We have four antique stores here in
Orange, and they feature a lot of trains as well as furniture, glassware, and more!" he said. In addition to his trains, John has
collected close to 500 dolls and 2,000 toys. "The world of antiques is fun to be around," he said. Laurie collects Hallmark
Christmas ornaments and has over 5,000 that are displayed year round in antique cabinets in their home.
Try Not - Do!
John is a doer. The word 'try' is not in his vocabulary," said Laurie. "He made the business a success by working hard and
believing in the product, the company, and our fantastic support system of IPC's." "Without each and every one of them," said John,
"we wouldn't be where we are today."
Laurie added, "I am here to encourage him, to listen to him, to make him laugh. But we do operate the business fifty-fifty. He
makes the money, and I spend it!"
Good thing there's enough to go around! From hiding under his jacket to becoming a millionaire, John has come a long way. At
least now he doesn't have to sneak around!
